IBC Digital Marketing Launches Online Affinity Networks

San Diego, CA- March 04, 2010- IBC Digital Marketing, the leader in online marketing and search capabilities, has launched its newest product known as Affinity Networks to help small businesses boost consumer awareness and increase their online sales. IBC Digital Marketing is using San Diego, California as its launching pad and will hire nearly 1,000 business development specialists across the nation to market and sell the innovative Affinity Network online marketing tool.

Affinity Networks are exclusive online communities of local businesses that provide products and services to local consumers. Businesses that join an Affinity Network typically share a common bond.

An example of an Affinity Network would a popular real estate brokerage that attracts plumbers, electricians, home improvement contractors, furniture and carpet businesses, landscapers, lawyers, accountants, physicians, entertainment venues and local restaurants. Every Affinity Network features a host company and is supported by up to 150 business-members.

According to CEO Chris Knudsen, “The secret of Affinity Networks is their ability to utilize the awesome power of the internet to attract consumers to local business-members. This, in turn, increases their traffic and revenues. The more consumers who know about you, the more business you can generate.”

Knudsen cited the example of First Team Realtors in Oceanside, California which serves as the host company for its local Affinity Network. Business-members of this Affinity Network include a mix of over 100 businesses ranging from a home improvement company and carpet cleaning service to a dentist. As Knudsen explains, “When a homeowner is searching for a reliable realtor to sell his house or relocate to a new neighborhood, that homeowner can use our Affinity Networks to find good, reliable businesses to help with their relocation and make a smooth transition to their new neighborhood.”

Knudsen added, “The same is true with tourists and convention groups who want to stay at a great hotel in a resort city like San Diego. Once the hotel reservations are made, visitors need to buy tickets to local theme parks, make dinner reservations, rent a car or limousine for transportation and go shopping. An Affinity Network has all these important services on one easy-to-navigate network.”

Other key features of Affinity Networks that make them popular with consumers are the customized Impact Page which showcase each member-business and the Five Star Consumer Rating feature to help consumers evaluate a business’s reliability, performance and customer service.

Knudsen noted that “Times are changing. Nowadays, consumers don’t use the yellow pages or have the patience to search through online directories. They want information now! Affinity Networks is proving to be a fast, reliable way for businesses to get found when consumers need to find them. It’s also a prudent way for small businesses to spend their limited marketing dollars to reach a vast universe of consumers who otherwise may never know your business or service exists.”
