SEMA to host Internet marketing conference

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Aug. 6, 2009) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) will host a day-long conference on helping vehicle and vehicle aftermarket companies learn how to profit and promote themselves through the Internet.

The event will be held Nov. 2 in Las Vegas prior to the start of the SEMA Show, Nov. 3-6. Conference registrants will receive free admission to the annual trade show.

The conference, “Online Marketing Conference 2009: Your No B.S. Day to Mastering Internet Marketing,” is the first time SEMA has organized an entire day of training on a single topic at its annual trade show.

“Our data tells us that online marketing is of huge importance to our members, and also an area that members are confused about,” said Nathan Ridnouer, SEMA vice president of membership and councils.

“We´ve gathered some of the top Internet marketing experts for this unprecedented conference. Participants will discover proven strategies and hidden secrets for online marketing success.”

The program’s topics will include:

* The Skinflint’s Guide to More Free Web Site Traffic;

* How to Make Profit with Google AdWords and Paid Search Advertising;

* The Ultimate Guide to Turning Web Site Visitors into Customers;

* How to Use Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and Others for Social Media Marketing; and

* No B.S. Guide to Measuring Results in a Tough Economy.

Qualified professionals in the automotive industry may register for the conference at www.semashow.com/omc for $199 per person, which includes free admission to the 2009 SEMA Show. SEMA said it is offering a money-back guarantee to those not fully satisfied with what they learn at the conference.
